Exclusive Presentation: Magen Or – Israel’s Laser Defense Breakthrough

A major highlight of this year’s conference is the Magen Or (Iron Beam) session, where top defense experts will unveil the latest advancements in high-power laser interception systems.

Dr. Daniel Gold – Head of MAFAT, Ministry of Defense, will discuss electro-optics in next-generation defense systems.

“Magen Or” is a 100kW solid-state laser system designed to intercept airborne threats at distances up to 10 kilometers. It will become operational in 2025 and enhance Israel’s defense capabilities with a cost-effective alternative to missile-based interception.
