Meller Sapphire Optics can be supplied as lenses, flat windows, and domes custom fabricated in sizes from 3/8” to 4” dia. and varying wall thicknesses.Featuring Mohs 9 hardness, they are impervious to water, most acids and chemicals including fluorine to 300°C, abrasion caused by fast moving particulates, temperatures to 1,000°C, and pressures to 10,000 psi.

OPTICS POLISHING ABRASIVES FOR GRINDING, LAPPING & POLISHING ALL MATERIALS
Meller Microlux Powders come in seven particle sizes from 0.05 to 3.0 microns for mixing with ionized water and application directly to optics mounted on spot blocks. Capable of producing finishes to 10-5 scratch-dig, two ultrapure grades are offered: Microlux-R for aggressive grinding of hard materials and Microlux-RZ for ultra-fine polishing of soft materials.
