Dr. Nir Shitrit’s research group – The Optical Meta-Engineering Lab – the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, conducts experimental research that lies at the interface of engineering and applied physics and focuses on optics and photonics and, more specifically, on nano-engineered structures and materials with a custom-designed electromagnetic response. The Optical Meta-Engineering Lab is currently looking for an excellent and enthusiastic lab engineer/technician. Applicants who were educated in a great research group, experienced experimental research in optics and photonics, and published decent papers, are welcome to apply. A PhD degree is optional but not mandatory. Experience in nanofabrication is a great advantage.

For a new lab in the field of Biomedical Optics and Nanophotonics, we search for variety positions: A lab manager/ MSc and PhD students/ Postdocs. The lab develops novel imaging optical methods as well as fluorescent nanoparticles for theranostics applications.
